About Emerald Beach
Emerald Beach is one of the few best kept secrets for a holiday destination on the eastern sea board of Australia and quickly gaining popularity. Located on the north end of the tranquil Mid North Coast of NSW Emerald Beach is a breathtakingly beautiful coastal village positioned near the famous Look-at-me-now Headland just 15 minutes north of Coffs Harbour and 8 minutes south of Woolgoolga surrounded by the Solitary Islands Marine National Park Reserve, and Coffs Coast Regional National Park.
For a small village, Emerald Beach has a lot to boast about, gaining popularity for its laid-back, friendly, relaxed and easy-going demeanour. The village has everything: including great restaurants, Rattle Bar and Restaurant directly next door, Asian StrEAT Restaurant, plus Emerald Beach Pizza & Pasta for dine-in or takeaway, and EB General, a relaxed beachside café and general store, a bottle shop and hairdressing salon, all within 500 metres.
Our guests love exploring the beautiful headlands and three beaches, which provide spectacular viewing platforms for spotting majestic humpback whales, often visible from inside ArtHOUSE. The beaches are clean, vast and renowned for surfing, boasting an excellent beach break along with a southern left-hand reef break. Emerald Beach is also a great spot for fishing, with each beach offering deep, permanent gutters near the headlands and persistent gutters along the exposed beaches, as well as opportunities for rock fishing. If surfing or fishing is a little too energetic, there are plenty of sheltered spots perfect for swimming, working on your tan and simply relaxing.
